Jennifer Jones Mosher has sung many lyric soprano roles (including Mimi in La Boheme, Liu in Turtandot, Suor Angelica, Violetta in La Traviata, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Micaëla in Carmen, and Marguerite in Faust)with various regional companies throughout the United States. A graduate of the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, she holds a master’s degree in Opera from the Curtis Institute of Music, followed by apprenticeships with opera companies in Miami and San Francisco.

Her concert repertoire has included Handel’s Messiah,J.S. Bach’s “Cantata #51,” Mozart’s “Requiem” and “Exultate, Jubilate,” Strauss’ Four Last Songs,and Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915.” She has taught voice at Ashland University and Thiel College, as well as the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. She is active in the Warren-Youngstown chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota Alumnae and Cornersburg Baptist Church, and maintains a private voice studio at home.

Allan R. Mosher is an Ohio-based baritone and Professor Emeritus of Voice at Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music, where he joined the faculty in 1992. He holds degrees from San Francisco State University, UC Berkeley, Eastman, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (D.M.A.). A seasoned performer, he has appeared at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, sung roles in major operas (including La Traviata, Tosca, La Bohème, Rigoletto, Don Giovanni, and others), and has directed more than 25 operas.

He also presents memorized dramatic scripture recitations and notes having given 100+ presentations over 35 years, with performances in multiple states—useful if the February program includes sacred storytelling or narration.
