Pope Leo XIV

We have a new pope! Robert Cardinal Prevost, born in Chicago, Illinois, has dual citizenship in Peru and The United States. He’s the first Pope from the U.S.A. His role at the Vatican prior to his election was in the Dicastery of Bishops. His job was to vet bishop’s nominations from around the world. He was a close advisor to Pope Francis and is expected to continue the reforms Pope Francis started. Let us join in offering prayers of gratitude and hope for our new leader!
