Does your hall have Computer capabilities with internet connection for meetings?

Both of our halls have the ability to use the internet for meetings. The large hall is used for meetings over 100 people. The Meeting Hall can be used for meeting up 100 people.

-We have computer hook up for PowerPoint presentations.

 Media Disclaimer: It may not be possible to play medias in some cases due to the type of media, the condition of the recording, the recording method and how files were created. We recommend you bring your media in ahead of time to check for possible problems.

If I schedule a meeting, can I bring donuts or snacks without using Rachel’s catering?

The only foods allowed in a meeting that is considered snack food are cookies, donuts, chips and pretzels. * No sandwiches or pizza can be brought in from outside places.

Can I serve alcohol such as mimosas or wine at my party without a bartender or police present? No, according to the Parish Center License, the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and the Township of Austintown, there shall not be alcohol at a party without a bartender provided by Rachels and an Austintown police person present.

*In the event alcohol is to be served at Licensee’s event, Licensee cannot serve or permit to be served alcohol except with the written permission of licensor (Rachel’s Catering).

    – There will be a $3.00 charge per person for the use of the bar, which will include the bartenders, mixes, fruits, soft drinks, ice and glassware.

    -BYOB event prices and other alcohol combinations, are dealt with individually, for more information;

* Licensee agrees to retain one off-duty Austintown Township police officer.

    – The police officer is retained for at least 4 hours, payable in cash $35.00 per hour for a total of $140.00

What is the price per person for bar service? $3.00 per person, unless alternate price is agreed upon with Rachel’s Catering prior to event.

Are there any discounts for Veterans groups?

No discounts for veterans’ groups.

Is there a discount on the room rentals for IHM parishioners?

No discounts for IHM parishioners.

Can I have a food related i.e., Pasta fundraising event at the Parish Center?

Yes, all parish or outside fundraising events must have the food provided by Rachels and pay the rental hall fees.  Additional clean up fee may apply to some events. (See Rules and Contract Regulations).

When can I set up for my event with decorations?

Yes, you may set up for your event on the day of your event. One to two hours prior to the start time. Only with special permission from the parish center manager can you set up at a different time.

What can I decorate with?

Rice, confetti, glitter or feathers are not permitted as decorations inside or outside of the hall premises. All decorations must be removed immediately after the event.

Payment Options?

The rental payment of the Hall is due at time of booking by cash or check. (See Rules and Contract Regulations) For Rachel’s Catering you may pay by cash or check made payable to Rachel’s. A 3% upcharge for credit card payments. Payment due to Rachel’s the night of event or before.

IHM Parish Center is not responsible for articles which are lost or damaged on our property.
