Become a CCD Teacher!
CCD teachers, also called Catechists, are called and empowered to assist families by sharing their faith with children. Here’s what you can expect:
- Meaningful weekly interaction with parish children
- The opportunity to explore and learn more about your own faith
- Training to prepare you
- Professionally developed resources to help you do a great job
- A friendly and encouraging team of fellow catechists
- The satisfaction of knowing you are making a positive impact on our community and the lives of the families in our parish
- No prior experience is required. If you love children, parents, and learning about your faith, we’ll take care of the rest.
Contact one of our Co-Directors to learn more and/or to express your interest.
“You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Never forget these words which I am giving you today. Teach them to your children. Speak of them at home and when you are away, whether you are busy or at rest.”
(Deuteronomy 6:5-7)
Letter from Pope Francis on Care for Our Common Home:
Prayers to Pray Together:
Hail Mary, Full of Grace
the Lord is with you!
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in Heaven
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
